The board has four parts. Items: a type with its own content and design options. Pin: one per item, coloured, placed anywhere on it, and where string ties (post-its have none). Marks: drawn on an item in the full-screen editor, they move with it and are clipped to its edge. Strings: pin to pin, coloured, dashed, labelled. Every item also has a back for notes, sources and credit. Nothing is drawn on the bare board.
